You are my all in all

Some of you might know this verse: Ps. 73:25: "Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you."

Has God ever challenged you to give up anything so that you will learn the truth of this verse? The idea seems to be simple. Even if it sounds - and, believe me, is - hard, God challenges you to leave things behind to allow him to be all you need and desire in life.

I somehow guess, that this really is some really rewarding truth, something that actually will work out that way God is promising it. That he will fill our lives even more when we make room by giving up something else.

I'm still learning... It's kind of a hard lesson. But, that's the way I got to know God so far, it seems to be worth it. I hope I not only claim this to be true but actually believe it in my heart so much, that I live it out.
