miracle man

I thought it was a only a story, that people actually meet Jesus in such a way that they allow him to absolutely turn their lives all over. It was hard for me to really believe that this could happen, that people meet Jesus and change their lives, right away - because I so rarely saw it happen with my own eyes.

But, it IS true! By God's grace I had the opportunity to experiencce it by counselling a woman who turned away from Jesus. But Jesus went to meet her, without help of men and called her back. So she returned to our church and really opened her life up to him.

Suddenly she realized that sleeping around with her boyfriend is not ok anymore.
Neither is smoking.
And she also made the decision to tithe.

Now she left her boyfriend, successfully stopped smoking and invites her neighbour to church.
Praise God! What a miracle!

I so desire to see that happen more often! Thank you, Jesus, for reminding me that this is possible! I only have one answer why this doesn't happen a lot, because we are not open to his correction and don't allow him to fully reign over our lives.
